We all know Motorcycling is a dangerous activity and sport. The Motorcycle Angels Crisis Fund was set up to help fallen riders whether they are competing in a competition or riding down the road and have an accident. With each ride, the rider risks losing more than just the next opportunity to ride, compete or to win but he or she can also lose the ability to meet the mortgage payments or the ability to feed and care for his or her family. With no guaranteed salaries for professional competitors or injured reserve provisions in the sport, professional athletes and riders are often left with no place else to turn when faced with serious, sidelining injuries and the accompanying financial hardship.
Official Motorcycle Angels© recognizes that serious injuries can be traumatic enough in themselves, without the additional burden of financial worries. The Official Motorcycle Angels© was formed by three founding members to establish The Official Motorcycle Angels© Crisis Fund. The Official Motorcycle Angels© was formed on the premise of lending a helping hand to down riders that have experienced an extreme life changing injury or death. Thus, filling the void created by financial hardships when injury interferes with career and lives of those who have dedicated their life to riding motorcycles.
Assistance awards are based on the severity of injury, number of dependents and the applicant's financial situation. The Official Motorcycle Angels also takes into consideration the individual's involvement in and/or contribution to the sport of riding motorcycles.
"The Fund focuses on those individuals who ride and dedicate their life to it, building a motorcycling support group in an all out effort and joining all motorcycle style riders in their unique Passion." said Melissa Zavadil, President of Motorcycle Angels ©. That includes; Choppers, Harley-Davidson Style motorcycles, Sportbikes, Superbikes, Crotch Rockets, Motocross, Supercross, Arenacross, and Flattrack riders.
Individual contributions make up the bulk of the donations received by The Official Motorcycle Angels.

If you have been critically injured in a motorcycling accident within the last two years which has caused significant hardship and would like to apply for a grant. Please contact us through our contact page and we will send you an official application.
We are still a relatively young 501(c)3 and have limited funding at this time. Our By-Laws only allow us to help the most serious of cases at this time. If you do not meet the foundations By Law requirements for funding there are other ways that The Official Motorcycle Angels can help. Through product support, benefit ride services among others.
