You can fundraise! Whether this is the first time you've taken part in a major fundraising event or you're a seasoned pro, any fundraising commitment can seem daunting at first. Have the faith, hope & courage - fundraising IS easy. And with The Official Motorcycle Angels help you can be a success and reach your goal.

We will provide you with all the tools you will need to make yourself successful as a TEAM ANGEL and all you have to do is apply them. With our resources and support we are confident you will reach the goal you choose to commit to, and even exceed it!

Below is a worksheet to help you identify & brainstorm a list of potential donors. Write in names and contacts of all the people and companies you can think of as you go down this list. You'll have a great starting point after completing the below worksheet and implementing your fundraising plan.

Additional Fundraising Ideas


One of the quickest and easiest ways to raise funds is to send out emails and letters to all of your contacts. However, these are NOT the only fundraising ideas. Below are some of our different but fun fundraising suggestions! And remember, The Official Motorcycle Angels are here to help you create your very own personalized fundraising strategy.




		Pass Out Fundraising Cards:	Pass out your personal fundraising card (available at sign up for $5.70 for 250 cards) at your local biker bar, motorcycle shop or any other place bikers hang out and have them donate. They can donate right from their iphone! EASY! Sample Fundraising Card
		Sell Benefit Braclets at your local events/biker hangout!	You can get an assortment of benefit bracelets when you join up. Buy them at The Official Motorcycle Angels and sell them for $5 each. EASY! People are more likely to buy them if they see them! They are really neat! Or approach your local bar/biker establishment and ask them to buy them all from you and sell them for you! HOW EASY IS THAT? Make sure you let us know which bar/establishment bought them (send us their address so we can send them a tax deductible reciept) and we can help promote them for helping us!
		Day At The Track:	Ask your local track if they will donate 5% of entry fee's for a particular day at the track, post posters at the entrance to promote. You can get all your friends to come to the track and have a BBQ.
		Promote a mini Road Day:	Get 10 of your friends, and family that ride to donate $40 to join you on a set road ride that is carefully planned out. Plan the start, stop, event in middle, and end. (outline/mapout) and you will have a great mini benefit ride! It doesn't have to be a full blown 100 person benefit ride to gain valuable funding. (Plus this might offer valuable experience so you can do a larger ride in the future with more confidence)
		Poker Night:	Or any other card or board game. Provide snacks and beverages and ask for a donation at the door. Read more about Poker night / tournament Fundraising HERE
		Wine & Cheese Night:	Approach your local wine shop with your business letter in hand and ask if they would be willing to donate some wine and cheese if you advertise the name of their shop at your event. Then invite some friends over for a nice relaxing evening, don't forget to charge them at the door or make an "ask" for a donation during the evening. Read more about Wine & Cheese Fundraising HERE
		Microbrew Beer Tasting and Tailgating Fundraiser:	Head to a specialty beer or liquor store with a business letter and ask if they could donate a series of six packs from varying breweries. Then invite some friends over for a beer tasting that educates them of the unique brews you provided. Again, don't forget to ask for donations before and during your event.
		Pub Crawl:	Pick a fun area with lots of different bars and come with a schedule, transportation and even t-shirts. Ask everyone for a $20-$30 donation towards The Official Motorcycle Angels in order to participate.
		Pasta Dinner:	How easy is it to make spaghetti, meatballs, salad and bread?! Invite anyone and everyone over for a big family style dinner and tell them all about The TEAM ANGELS and what you are taking on. A $20 donation per person seems fair for a night where they don't have to worry about cooking!
		Get A BikeShop To Carry The GOLDEN HOG by the register! :	Ask your local shop to get a GOLDEN HOG for their establishment and when they send in the check to The Official Motorcycle Angels have them write your TEAM ANGEL number on the check! Thats it!....can't get easier than THAT!
		Ride While You Fundraise! :	Incorporate a motorcycle ride into your fundraising by offering to ride a certain distance with a certain flat donation or donation per mile.
		Bake Sale:	After a religious service, outside the local shopping center, or right from your desk at work, people love goodies especially when the money goes to a great cause! Read more about Bake Sale Fundraising HERE
		Use What You Know:	Have a special skill or talent? Shoot guns? Fix Motorcycles? Know Photoshop? Paint? Create? Sew? Love to cook? Pick a Saturday and offer a lesson in return for a donation.

Matching Gifts

Double your donations with gifts from companies that match employee donations!

It is common for large companies to have a matching gift program. Which means that if your donors company offers a donation match they can fill out a form through their human resources department and their company with "match" thier donation resulting doubling their contribution towards your fundraising goal. If you are a member of or know of any organization that matches gifts and is not yet on this list, please let us know.

Please Note: When asking your donors about their company matching their donations: Companies vary how and when they process checks - monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually. It is important to remember that matching gifts do not count toward your fundraising commitment until the matching check is received and processed by The Official Motorcycle Angels. So be sure to handle the matching gift process early.
